"The focus for Antigua going forward in 2009 and beyond is twofold. The first is to focus on always remaining important to the incredible breadth of clientele that we've established over the past 30 years, by continuing to develop current golf specific fashion collections that people continue to enjoy wearing, whether it's because of the comfortable fit of the garment or its dynamic performance attributes. Add to that the ability to service those customers with the best service experience that the golf industry has to offer.
The second is to simultaneously focus on the future. Look for every opportunity to satisfy the business that we've previously established by being a deliberately forward thinking entity in the golf apparel industry by staying in touch with new and ever evolving technology as it surfaces and not allowing ourselves to only reflect on the unprecedented 30 year success that we've obtained. Antigua operates 4 highly competitive divisions in its Peoria, Arizona facility and is the home of Antigua's proprietary Desert Dry™ moisture wicking performance apparel. Its golf division, like its other three divisions - Corporate Apparel, License Sports and Specialty Retail - has a product line created seasonally just for the golf apparel division.
This current strategy of developing unique product for the golf division utilizing individual design talent creates product specific to the ever evolving golf market. It focuses on the development of new performance fabrications, color direction and golf specific garment specs.
